Our Vision
Rodney Harris understands and is sensitive to the fear, confusion, uncertainty and stress experienced by defendants when fighting the might of the government for their reputation and liberty.
He knows that the cornerstone of a positive Attorney-Client relationship is respect, trust and communication. Rodney will always work to foster a positive/productive relationship by: prompt and responsive communication, timely in person meetings, honest feedback/advice and patiently listening.

Rodney J. Harris, Esq.
Rodney J. Harris is the founder and managing attorney at Harris Law, ltd. For more than 20 years, Attorney Harris has served people throughout the Greater Cincinnati area and the State of Ohio in both state and federal court in the public and private sector.
Rodney is a Cincinnati native and proud alumni of Walnut Hills High School and Central State University, where he earned his Bachelor of Science and recieved Cum Laude honors.
He went on to receive his Juris Doctorate from the University of Louisville Brandeis School of Law. After graduation, Rodney returned to Cincinnati where he began his law practice with Lawson & Gaines, LLC. focusing on Criminal Law.
In 1997, Rodney opened his own law office Rodney J. Harris, Attorney at Law focusing on Criminal Law, Personal Injury, Juvenile Law and Social Security Law. After more than 17 years of successfully serving clients in the community in a private capacity, Rodney accepted the position of Director of the Felony Division. Rodney’s leadership played a major role in raising the level of representation low income clients received from appointed counsel in Hamilton County.
After a successful 5-year stint in public service, Rodney departed the role of Director of the Felony Division and returned to the private sector determined to continue serving the community by providing knowledgeable, experienced, aggressive and compassionate representation to all of those, whom he serves.
